Molokai Outdoors

Clare and Gordon came together after crossing paths for 30 years, and a great love story went into the making during COVID in 2020. As Clare was shutting down the business to pursue a teaching career, Gordon convinced her otherwise to give the company another shot. Together, they became strong and began to rebuild Molokai Outdoors and diversify by continuing to educate the visitor about Molokai's unique lifestyle and bringing the idea of a brick-and-mortar store that would be the launch of their clothing and gear line, which was once a prior dream. Clare has had over 10 National Titles in the UK, one in the US, and one in Australia, and several World Titles in the sport of Windsurfing and retiring as Hawaii State Champion and Maui County Champion in slalom racing. Gordon has a rich martial arts, boxing and hula background mixed in with canoe paddling, surfing, hunting, and the outdoor/survival experience. Clare is no newcomer to the outdoors as her holidays with her family consisted of testing mountain gear on Britain's highest mountain in 80mph winds at 12 years old, camping in the snow for skiing holidays, spending days hiking in mountainous ranges, and learning the basics of survival with limited means all in the way of family getaways and holidays. On the other hand, Gordon grew up hunting, surfing, and diving in Molokai waters, and they both know some about the outdoors.
